Using EP3HTMed in assembly of microbiological test apparatus

To provide insight into the risks of a diet high in meat, researchers designed an experiment to assess the relative biological effectiveness of alpha radiation from an external polonium-210 source using cultured porcine aortic endothelial cells as a surrogate for human tissues. A test apparatus requiring an adhesive that was biocompatible, non-cytotoxic and withstood autoclaving was created. Read more on EP3HTMed and the experiment performed here.
